Canongate Lake is a 25 acres lake owned by all Canongate Village property owners and is for all Canongate Village Homeowners to use and enjoy. All Homeowners and their guest are permitted to fish for small mouth bass and other fish from the large deck, a boat in the water, or their own property on the lake! A boat ramp is available for easy access to the water with your boat. A key is needed to open the locked gate for access to the boat ramp.

Only Owners and their Resident Family Members (except the agents or contractors of Owners or the Developer when such boats are essential to construction or maintenance) may launch, sailor otherwise use a boat on Lake Canongate.
The only type boats permitted shall be row boats, sail boats and boats propelled by battery powered
electric motors of no more than three horsepower.
Boats propelled by any type internal combustion engine, boats longer than 26 feet and all types of floating rafts are prohibited, and shall not be placed upon the Lake for any purpose.

- You must be with your invited guest at all times.
- Do not drive or park on the grass.
- Please use extra caution using the boat ramp when there is a party or other event at the Pavilion.
- Make sure the gate is closed and locked once you have entered or exited the lake area.
